Terri took her first Pilates class in 2007 and was hooked, immediately feeling and seeing the benefits of the system. Soon after, she enrolled in Power Pilates, a professional training program in NYC to become a classical pilates instructor. She spent 600 hours over 6 months, learning over 800 exercises on the mat and the apparatus; including the reformer, tower and wunda chair. In 2009 she received her comprehensive certification. She studied under Bob Liekens, a well regarded third generation instructor and mentor who worked directly with Romana Kryzanowska, a student of Joseph Pilates himself. Terri has taken multiple continuing education classes since, including Buff Bones for those with osteopenia and osteoporosis. She
has been teaching clients of all ages and abilities and loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for pilates with them.

Terri loves being active and attributes pilates in helping her remain strong, flexible and relatively injury free over the years. Her passions include hiking, downhill and XC skiing, strength training, kayaking and daily walks with her two dogs. She believes that movement is key to aging with grace and happiness!

Prior to her career as a Pilates Instructor, Terri received a BS degree in Business Management and was a Partner in a global technology consulting firm.
Terri lives in Mendham with her husband Andy and dogs, Porter and Bo. Their vacations always involve some type of adventure and includes their daughter Olivia, now living in Boston.

Trying to keep up with Liv is always a challenge! Terri’s goal is to continue doing these
adventures well into her 90s. Pilates will always be part of her plan to get there!
